Secrets of bearhaven
In Secrets of Bearhaven, 11-year-old Spencer finds himself thrust into a community of bears, called Bearhaven, where a top-secret technology has been developed to translate bear language into human language. Spencer must pick up where his family left off, rescuing bears from dangerous situations, while uncovering clues about his parents’ disappearance.
Secrets of Bearhaven was developed in collaboration with Egg in the Hole Productions.
The character traits of Bearhaven’s fictional bears are based on real black bear behavior, thanks to the consultation of bear biologist Dr. Thomas Spady.
The series contains a fictional bear language, Ragayo, created by linguist Sheri Wells-Jensen, based on the sounds bears naturally make in the wild.
